First published in 2000, A Blueprint for Action has been extensively revised and re-published as Blueprint for Action 2006. The new publication provides an excellent overview of fire-maintained ecosystems and is a well-illustrated guide to ecosystem restoration in the Trench during the period 1997-2005.

The Trench Society is a founding member of the Ecosystem Restoration Steering Committee.
